Flint knapping: The Art of Making Stone Tools.

Sunday, August 17th, 1 to 4 PM

Have you ever marveled at the craftsmanship of stone points made by Native Americans or thought I’d like to learn how to do that? This workshop is designed to give a beginner the tools, knowledge and materials they need to make their own arrowheads and other stone tools. The workshop will review local history of stone tools, equipment and materials, safety, and techniques. Then after a demonstration, we’ll have hands-on-practice.
