Bring Your Dog for a Walk Along the River and Canal

Refreshments, Locktender’s House Tour, Lock Opening

Sunday, November 15^th

We are setting aside a day for you and your best friend. Dog walking has always been a popular activity along the canal and the SCA has decided to dedicate a day for you and your dog.  Walkers and their dog will meet at the Locktender’s house for a 2 mile walk along the river to the second ravine.  Catch the open view along the river and see the last of the fall colors while you dog enjoy’s the company of other dogs and the sights and smells of the park. After the walk refreshments will be served at the Locktender’s house for people and dogs.  There will also be a lock opening. Leashes required.

Schedule

1:00-2:00 PM - Dog walker meet and leave from Locktender’s House at Lock 60, the walk is 2 miles along the river to second ravine.

2:00-2:45 PM – Refreshments and a tour of the Locktender’s House
